We always hear and read about all these complicated ways to save energy. Actually the simplest and most effective method to save on your heating bill is just turn down your thermostat. Just turning down your thermostat 1 degree (in the 60 to 70 degree range) will save your 5% on your energy bill. Turn it down 2 degrees and save 10%!!! Try it!!!!

Keep the Heat In!!!! Turn off kitchen, bath and other ventilating fans within 20 minutes after you are done cooking or bathing to retain heated air. The quicker the better. The little things can make a big difference!
